I'm sure I can beat Navarre without Hector though. I just don't see the point in making it harder for me. All that needs to be done is to drag them out anyways, and I can just pick them all off.
The issue is that you're downplaying how difficult the map is when your strategy is contingent on using Hector.
Actually, this map really isn't hard. If you have a hard tank or a unit that can outright kill them all and survive, place it within the range of the 2 ninjas, there's one forest that does that, then it's pretty much a win. I can just use Triangle Adept Sharena to destroy Navarre, pick off the rest using literally anything.
The first part is the hardest, but I mean... you seriously just need to kill the ninjas and Navarre. It's seriously not that hard.
You can also lure them out using a flier and putting them on a safer spot or just kill anybody within range
Again, you're making it sound like this map is a breeze. I had to inherit skills for my Effie to win this map because of the ninjas were too dangerous. It's one thing to tank the ninjas, which my Effie easily could, but it's a different story to kill them and my Effie couldn't one shot them so they could maneuver around her and go to kill over one of my more vulnerable characters. And the Axe enemy was designed as the perfect Effie counter as brought up by Milkman, she can't tank a hit from full health even at 5* +Def or +HP (he does 53 damage to my +Def 4* Effie) unless you have a Rally Defense or anything to raise her defense by 4 points. Remember, it just takes one loss to lose the map.
I'm not arguing that it's not doable, but this map is no slouch.
And just where are you putting that flier so that it could bait out the ninjas? And who's the flier so I can make it?
Having a male Robin makes this map a cake walk. He can easily deal with the ninjas and Navarre on his own if you give him Triangle Adept. The only unit on the map that can touch him is the axe user. I had Tiki to deal with him. ---
