Topic	Is EDM so popular because it takes relatively little talent to be succesful?

It's the skill gap of pressing some buttons (I know that's way over simplified) compared to taking years and years to practice and master a guitar or drums. The production part for electronic music is certainly easier, but that doesn't means it's easy to make good music. Yngwie Malmsteen is a very talented guitarist, yet everything he makes sounds like shit. It doesn't matter how much you can do with a guitar, if you don't actually have songwriting skills, which is why so many prog bands are shit.
