The fact that goku and vegeta go to the future, get defeated and run away, then go back to the future, get defeated and run away, then go back to the future again is just the worst story progression I've ever seen. There's soooo much tension when the story takes place in an alternate timeline nobody cares about and you can just run away whenever you're in toruble. At this point they "win" except wait not really because of apparently zamasu is suddenly a god except wait goku pulls the "get me out of this clusterfuck button" that destroys the entire universe (whilst creating a new one?? Now with 2 Trunks?? WTF?). Not even going to mention trunkss ridiculous asspull transformation that made him stronger than goku and vegeta or how much the powerlevels fluctuated throughout the arc. Is goku or vegeta stronger than black? Nobody knows, it's completely arbitrary. Both of them win and lose at one point or another. Oh and although zamasu is at a laughable level weaker than a ssj2 he can somehow touch people who are a power magnitude so beyond that it's absurd. Oh and also getting stabbed does nothing.
