Topic	Do you have a nickname in real life? How did you get it?

I had several friends in high school that called me this. Jerk - one of those friends took it a little far, and included my middle initial. JRC Party - one of my high school friends I was in a band with called me this before switching to JC. It had to have been ironic, cuz the only parties I went to were of the LAN variety. Jurd - my best friends in college gave each other "hick"names. Michael became Mack, J became Joe, Nathan became Natch, and I became Jurd. For the record, I prefer being called by my given name.
