When I was a kid, before I even knew about the stereotype, I loved watermelon more than any other fruit, what does that make me then according to the stereotype? It's a crock. American blacks consume just as much pizza, hot dogs, and hamburgers as any other Americans, and that doesn't make them Italian for liking pizza.
