They might be able to make it better with a remaster, but a straight VC release would be worthless. The dumbest part about it is that, unlike SM64, the number of shines you collect doesn't matter. It's all about just collecting the first six or seven (can't remember the total) in each stage, so the rest are pointless unless you're happy to waste time getting all 120.
