Obviously they'd still have the Yankees play the Red Sox more than the Brewers, but it isn't as simple as Erik is making it out to be either, since hockey and basketball are done one game at a time. "Well you have double the games so just make the series two games" isn't a good solution because you can't realistically have every series be two games. It would be a stretch to do that even for just the interleague series. I'd imagine that with current scheduling, teams still don't play anywhere near 30 two-game series a year.


I mean, teams play division opponents 19ish times a year. It's absurd to think you can't take out one or two of those series and apply them to other teams.
