We go through periods where we don't have a lot of kittens for a while, then suddenly a lot will show up at the shelter with little warning. I wish it was easier for older cats to be adopted, since too often they get ignored and are always seemingly the last cats adopted out sadly to say. Two of the cats I didn't think would ever get adopted finally did during January who are older, so there is hope after all! I hope that happens with another older cat, my shelter is trying to promote the adoption of.
