when was the last time Extha posted in a B8BL topic? I figured he would have went on a tirade at some point during his 5 game losing streak

I offered him Michael Morse (All-Star, best hitter on my team) for Miguel Cabrera (hitting .170) several times.

He turned it down.

At this point, I just assume he's given up and is tanking for a higher draft pick (lol).

I just assume he's not a dumbass going by streaks in a video game that has the slimmest sample size imaginable. There's no way I'd trade Miggy if I were him considering he has some of the best stats in the game.

12 games into the season and he's hitting awful the whole way through, it stops being about the sample size. Especially since he was just going to bench him anyway.

In other words, he could have had Michael Morse for essentially nothing. He wanted Jurrjens, too, so I turned it down (and of course Jurrjens finally gets lit up).

12 games isn't even a tenth of a full baseball season. Consider that some players have had entire horrible outlier seasons before.

Sometimes the stats just don't go in your favour. For example, in the online text MMORPG UrbanDead, there have been times where I use all 50 action points and only collapse a barricade level twice on a building, when it should have a hit percentage of 25% (thus I SHOULD have knocked it down 12.5 times). Outliers happen in extremely small samples. 12 games is extremely small.

I'll give you 3 guesses as to why I didn't yank Ian Kennedy in my last game with the season on the line. Guess who was right?
