unlocking characters is also terrible tbqh, unless they're just joke characters or clearly overpowered
but really I have a hard time trusting an unsourced rumor about the characters, especially when lupinko has said things to the contrary. And even if the characters are DLC, they're cheaper than DLC characters have ever been in any fighting game before this.
