*takes topic seriously*

*perhaps way too seriously*

I don't understand why you would even bother doing anything productive or moral at all.

Being productive helps my life, the only life (I believe) I'll ever have. Being moral helps other people's lives, the only lives (I believe) they'll ever have. Why wouldn't I do this?

So I'm curious, what is your purpose for living?

I don't really think there is one. There are things I want to do before I die, because I won't get another chance to do them. But calling it a "purpose" seems melodramatic, if you get my drift.

Does the concept of death bother you?

Death doesn't bother me. It's dying that's scary. But I think that if I can go peacefully after a long life then I'd be okay with that too.

it's being attacked by a shark or something that's scary

but that isn't the same as death

unless it happens and then you die from it
