just really like their style, it's simpler and softer. the biggest problem i have with a lot of female kpop groups - especially those who take on a similar style to what SNSD's delivered - is that so much is styled for clubs.

Huh? Rambling Girls is trance you know... Although, I guess it's been a while since trance was being played in clubs... Unfortunately... But still, I'd call that "club friendly". Ohwell, atleast we can agree that it's consistently quality.

And yeah, that vid for Sixth Sense is awesome. It's basically a big "EFF YOU" to the Korean record industry. I mean, as I'm sure you not, personal freedom is not really a big thing there and this pretty much calls that out. Really gutsy move by them and I'm slightly surprised they pulled it off. But since their label is a comparatively small one, I guess they at this point has the influence to do whatever they want.
Another reason to like BEG is the fact that the group was actually created by the members themselves, not by the label, which at this point is virtually unique in the k-pop world. Sure, they still had to go through the regular years long training routine, but it seems like ever since its inception they've been able to be in control of their own careers, which the Sixth Sense vid would be another indication of.

Also, Girl's Day actually kinda started out less girly, atleast briefly:

But when that didn't work as well, Banjjak Banjjak happened and well, rest is history...
