If Resident Evil 4 and Yoshi's Island met up, I would expect Resident Evil 4 to win, probably more handily than it would against FFX. That doesn't change the fact that SMW2's body of work thus far is more impressive.
So why can't you vote FFX over RE4 then?
Especially considering it just beat that game whose body of work you consider impressive.
