Problem with that link is that it only tells us about partisan lines...doesn't tell us about the individual candidates themselves. Just because a state is usually more liberal, doesn't mean the specific candidate (crappy 2012 Obama) will take the state.


Your logic absolutely applies to the conservatives. It DOESN'T apply to Obama, because he's listed as the candidate in that link (against generic conservative)

Also, Obama just needs to lose 1 big state, such as Florida, and then it's pretty much over for him.


This is true for Conservatives as well.
