The economy actually did pretty well during the war, up until the housing bubble burst. Which I do partially blame Bush for. >_<
How could you blame Bush for it when the mess started years before he was even president? Clinton is to blame...especially his HUD. And Obama was actually a lawyer in a huge case which caused housing disasters too. Bush had nothing to do with the housing market.
