This is totally true though, just not in the way most of you are smart enough to understand.
RE4 (itself) is one of the greatest games ever, bar none, not debatable. However, it is absolutely the downfall of the series. RE 5 is easily the worst mainline game in teh series (Code VX is not mainline) and there is no reason to believe RE6 will be any better at all, and it is all because of the mechanics taken from 4. It worked for 4 because it still kept the RE parts in tact, everything from here on out is going to be a generic action game.
