The Wii. Say what you will about everything else, it's one of the best consoles for local multiplayer. It has equivalents for pretty much everything the Gamecube has, as well as much more. It wins for sheer quantity and variety when compared to the Gamecube.
Love my Wii, but seriously gotta disagree. Wii absolutely does not have any equivalents for GameCube's best, aside from Smash Bros.
