Ulti, could you explain your reasoning behind being opposed to anti-bullying laws?
Leads to thought crimes, dumb s*** like people getting suspended from school for saying boys have cooties and a move toward the abject failure that is the self esteem movement. It's on par with banning tag and dodgeball because "someone might get hurt".

You know me, I'm all about personal responsibility, sticking up for yourself and generally being an alpha male. If you don't have the courage to punch a bully in the mouth a few times and make the entire school fear you, you probably deserve what you're getting anyway. What happens when you get a job and your boss tells you that you suck? Cry to mommy? The world doesn't work that way.

Which says nothing of the kids getting bullied who have legitimately done something to deserve it, like being a tattle-tale. Those who get rewarded for tattling are the type of people who mark 500 messages a day on this site and think text disappearing leads to some weird fulfillment.

Oh and before someone brings up how gay people are treated in public school, they're just as capable of kicking the s*** out of a bully as anyone else so that's no argument.

Furthermore, this is kind of related to why gun control is idiotic. If every bully knew that they were at risk for getting killed and that there would be no punishment, bullying would end pretty damn quick. Criminals, violent or otherwise, don't mess with people who pack heat. All my friends and neighbors know I own 4 guns. If you want to try invading my home, best of luck to you.

That is why anti-bullying laws are trash. Learn how to stick up for yourself, not rely on authorities and police officers who probably won't show up until after you're dead in a true emergency.

You can use this logic on any crime, though. "We should allow theft, because the thief knows that there's a risk that he'll get his ass beat by whoever he's stealing from," "Attempt murder all you want, you know the risk, that person might try to kill you back."
