Pooling logic is pretty dumb in this topic. Haven't played Zero Mission but given that Pokemon HG/SS aren't really the same as Pokemon Gold/Silver I'd be pretty confident ZM is pretty different from the original Metroid (that and the fact that people you know, like Zero Mission).
Again it's to avoid redundancy, I'm pretty sure a lot more people would complain if the remakes were kept separate from their original games than they would if they were put together.
And that rule only affects like 3 games, I didn't think it'd be that much of a big deal.
