You should, because it's absolutely great.
Also it doesn't really retcon anything in KotOR 1 or 2 that I know of. It actually seems to be staying fairly faithful as far as I am.
EDIT: And playing the market is prohibited for valid reasons. When people start to do so, it jacks up the prices for things beyond reasonable levels to the point where the entire economy is flipped on its head, and nobody can make any money how it was originally intended.
That's exactly what happened to WoW, and several other MMOs that let people do that.
You have literally no idea what you are talking about. The market in WoW works perfectly fine without big daddy Blizzard interfering in it. The only place there is an issue is on severely underpopulated realms, but that's its own problem.
