If you can show me the circumstances where having perma-CA and a +2 to YOUR and your party's damage loses to a monster's piddly damage, I'll be very surprised. Trust me Scep, read the book. Just not worth it.
Perma-CA? What, from flanking, I guess? That might change things. The damage boost alone doesn't do it.
In other news, should I take a theme? There really seems to be no reason not to, and there are a few that'd provide some minor benefit to me of some sort or another.
