I didn't play it until I was 23 and it was junk. It had a shallow story, a bunch of immature stuff like "Smell you later!" and the designs are aimed at kids by being cute. I don't see how any adult playing it for the first time could like it.
You didn't like the series so no adult can like the series. Because you are a perfect example of behavior every adult aspires to and nobody dares to deviate even slightly from your shining example of perfection.
No, I'm pretty sure its just aimed at kids. Its like how people these days still like the old cartoons from the 90s even though they were aimed at kids, but they now hate all the cartoons that come out now even though they are aimed at the same demographic. Nostalgia goggles blind people.
