You know, there's a card in HvH that lets you call an assist even while you're getting attacked at the cost of meter. I wonder how much that had to do with this. Probably nothing, but it'd be funny to turn MvC3 into Jump Ultimate Stars.
Of course, you can still use that with gold Hsien-Ko, and it's still hilariously broken.
