Wesker did get nerfed from Vanilla to Ultimate, but then they do something stupid to offset that nerf(which was dumb).His Assist is only for OTG anyways, didn't have much value or safety in anything else.
Yes, his assist is only good for OTG, but it is THE BEST OTG ASSIST IN THE GAME. IIRC, it comes out faster than any other OTG assist. Ghost Rider's is equally fast, but does 3 hits to Wesker's 1 so it's worse for scaling. And OTG assists can be a pretty big deal since they let you do all kinds of huge combos you couldn't otherwise.
