Because of what it stands for sure. But as a standalone song if you had no memories of Transformer 86, can you honestly tell me the movie version is not better?
Oh no doubt that nostalgia plays a huge role. I just think the original version sounds more "epic" or whatever. Though yeah the new version might be a little better overall.
