To be fair, this format makes for bad jokes all around.
Quality tends to wane as the contest goes on, so you do the math.
There were multiple quality entries yesterday. I guess you just can't make that many Samus vs. Boss jokes as you can Pokémon vs. Street Fighter without some overlapping.
It's no matter though. Even if no one has an absolutely brilliant entry today, there's always tomorrow!
