Zelda for me
I'm actually not that big a fan of the NES Marios. Plumber killed it on the SNES, N64, and Wii, but there was that 11-year stretch between SM64 and Galaxy where he had nothing good on consoles. I consider LttP (and, in turn, Zelda's SNES era) a disappointment, but it was competitive during the NES and a clear step above since the N64. And once again, I'm completely unqualified to speak on their handheld offerings.
