Eh...sort of. Probably would have been nice to have a cross-examination of Morgan to reveal that. I mean, they'd have to unpack Maya, splash blood on her, wipe the prints off two weapons without putting more of their own on them, plant Maya's, and stow her again, all while Mimi gets out unseen and tosses her stuff.
Because it's the car's orientation that matters, not where it came from (although where it came from explains the car's orientation, of course), and the testimony came from that paper right after the accident.
But all we have to go on is that she left the right door, correct? If the car had a normal orientation, the hole wouldn't be there anymore.
Because apparently pleading justified self-defense would've ruined Maya's chances at becoming Master, so I doubt Morgan would've wanted to use the same excuse.
But Morgan was doing it for her daughter, not herself. Pearl comes out unscathed.
