Ghibli is too mainstream for the majority of weaboos. Most people who seem to like the movies made by that studio aren't the hardcore anime fans.
To say hardcore anime fans aren't into Miyazaki flicks is pretty crazy. Like everything, it was popular on fansubs in the hardcore community, shown at anime cons etc before it was mainstream, but it's cool that it's appreciated in the mainstream too.
Not that a serious reply is needed to any post pondering about "weaboos".
I don't mean they don't watch it too, its just not as popular among them. Like looking on MAL, Arrietty has less people who have watched it then some generic fanservice anime in the last year like Hoshizora e Kakaru Hashi and Oretachi ni Tsubasa wa Nai. Arrietty is a Ghibli movie that has only been fansubbed up to this point, so I think it shows that the more hardcore anime fans really aren't as into those types of movies.
