This is easy, a casual gamer is someone who only plays a small amount of games and vice versa. Someone who only owns a Wii and an iPhone can be a hardcore gamer if they spend a lot of time playing a variety of different games. Someone who has a PS3 and Demon Souls can be a casual gamer if that's all they play.
