I understand the argument that something like CoD is a "casual" game because it has a higher ratio of "casual" players to "hardcore," and yet... I disagree with it because CoD isn't something you can just pick up, play for five minutes, and be good at. It's not Angry Birds or Tetris. To be any good, you have to actually put time into it. That, by default, should make it a "hardcore" game. What's the difference between somebody putting countless hours into CoD and somebody putting countless hours into Dark Souls?
