We're going by the game definition though. Games define the gamer in this case, not the effort.
And someone just proved my point. He said that casual gamers flock towards Call of Duty. That doesn't make the game casual, the players are.
actually, i didnt prove ur point. I proved that games CAN be casual. Its just not based so much on gameplay and based moreso on the fans that play the game. Call of duty IS a casual game because so many casual gamers buy it.
There are hardcore gamers who buy CoD. They are the ones who are just as excited for Skyrim, or Skyward Sword, or Heroes of Might and Magic 6. However the CoD fanbase as a whole has a smaller % of gamers who think that way.
I guess im defining a game by its fanbase, which you might not like. But yes, games can be considered casual.
