Oh, well yeah, that. Um... not all Christians are anti-abortion, anti-gay rights, pro-war bigots. In fact I don't know a single person who is. I understand disliking the Westboro Baptist Church for their views (because those dudes are nuts), but there's a reason the headlines say "Westboro Baptist Church leader condemns gay marriage" and not "Christians as a whole condemn gay marriage".
But outdated doesn't refer to the followers, it refers to the teachings. And whether you want to admit it or not, the teachings are outdated in that regard, and are holding back progress. There are still a LOT of people that still take those old teachings to heart - otherwise gay marriage wouldn't be such a hot button issue, and would probably be legal in more than 6 states.
I'm not trying to blame Christians or anything here, I'm just saying this since some of you think it's crazy to call the bible's morals outdated.
