but I just can't see Microsoft users talking about crying when they found out about Bill Gates' death like Apple fans did when Jobs died.
This may have something to do with the fact that a vastly higher number of people use Microsoft products than Apple. Microsoft is a standard, while Apple has been a deviation. You don't hear people say "Hey, you use Microsoft? Cool, me too!" like with Apple stuff because nearly everyone uses Microsoft products.
