Do you mean if some being came to this Earth and performed miracles and started preaching that he could save us from the eternal damnation of death?
If he claimed that we could ascend after death if we followed his rules?
And we believe him because he can cure our diseases and arise again after we kill him? And this being even "looks" human?
...If this actually happened, I would follow that man. But, unless he literally looked like a human, I would constantly think he was some sort of alien with extraordinary powers.
I'm agnostic though, not atheist. I know there's higher beings out there. Humans aren't at the top of the cosmic food chain.
But do you not believe that if a civilization developed the technology to travel through our galaxy (maybe even come from another galaxy) that they would also be able to take the form of a human?
