#1:

I'm working on a show and texted a fellow friend in the field each sign of a good show, as experienced in the show I'm performing in that just opened last night...thought you may enjoy it.

#1: starting the show thirty minutes late.

#2: directors cussing their actors instead of addressing their safety concerns between scenes.

#3: adding new props and losing old costume-pieces on opening night.

#4: two hours of performing before the intermission leading to a long second act.

#5: actors drinking from flasks backstage.

#6: poorly-formatted programs.

#7: actor writing his lines on his hands before going on-stage...then his ink sweats off.

#8: new deck-crew responsibilities [moving set-pieces] being given to the actors mid-show.

#9: ending a horror-heavy production in October with a horror-free farce.

#10: the production lasts four hours.

#11: half or more of the audience left before the curtain call.

Hooray, community theatre!
