I'm not sure I've met a girl in real life who was into video games who wasn't like that. One tells me how much they love WoW and how I should play it; ask them how far in they are... "Oh, I played and got to like level 4 on my brother's account but the Night Elf place is SO COOL AND YOU SHOULD PLAY !" I mention that I'm playing Plants vs. Zombies to one... "I love that game!" "Have you beat it?" "Oh, no, I've never played it, I don't play games alone I just saw my brother playing it and the sunflowers are super cute (:" Etc.
Though god only knows that the only reason it seems that way is that the only girls I know to be gamers are the ones who are obnoxious about it and try way to hard to make sure everyone knows they're a gamer and like nerds.
