If you want to be ANYTHING, you've got a bunch of people who've done horrible things in your name. Pagan? Human sacrifice. Humanist? Eugenics movement and several 20th century tyrants with enormous body counts. Buddhist? Talk to the Asian mainland about World War II. It goes on.
