Yeah Seadrea's cool.

Man there's so many water Pokemon that I like without loving. Starmie, Kyogre and maybe Blastoise are pretty much the only three. Squirtle by extension I guess.

There's a bunch I think are "not bad" like Gyara, Seadra, Empoleon, Sharpedo, Buizel (mostly because anime Buizel is BA)...

Agreed; anime Buizel is awesome.

Continuing my point about liking Seadra because of how helpful it was in Stadium 2...there are actually quite a few Pokémon that I hold a place in my heart for because of a performance in one of those games. Jolteon earned its spot back in Stadium 1, when there were pretty much no decent counters to the Psychic type and Jolteon's Pin Missile got me through Prime Cup Round 2 with that trainer with the Mew. Cloyster, who I've been voting for a lot here, actually did it in one of the mainline games--it had been part of my team, sure, but it really locked up its place as one of my favorites with a clutch freezing of Agatha's Gengar. (Yes, I was still completely f***ed against Lance afterward, but not only is freezing a low-percentage chance to begin with, Blizzard doesn't even have great accuracy. And Cloyster, my last Pokémon and unable to take any more punishment, came through. At the very least, it would be more money to resupply for my next attempt.) Let's see, who else...ah, yes, Magby. Baby Pokémon in general get a lot of hatred here, as does the Magmar line in general, so this isn't a terribly popular position...but damned if my Magby wasn't the MVP of my Little Cup team. (Okay, sure, Teddiursa had the greater versatility because I'd used TMs to give it the three elemental punches, but Magby was more clutch.) Yeah, its moveset was pretty much entirely taught out of the TMs that could be bought from the department stores, but it worked. Double Team/Fire Punch/Sunny Day/Headbutt. In between the Double Team causing great miss chance and Headbutt causing flinching, Magby turned around a 3-1 deficit to win a match all by itself. Hell yeah Magby.
