Do we think the voters think a lot of the Red/Blue rivalry, and that it's more iconic than Ryu/Ken?
I certainly would. This all depends on how much the "rivalry" component actually plays into the results, but Red/Blue certainly benefits the most. They're iconic, they have nostalgia, they'll almost certainly have the fad vote a la L-Block, and they strike me as the type to get on a roll quickly, especially given a handful of strong early performances.
