Is that really that hard to understand?

When all you said previously is 'I like it more because I like it more, and if you don't that's fine' yes, it is, because you're not saying anything of value. There's no discussion between two people, and throw in a dismissive, confrontational tone, there's no room for future discussion.

What don't you like about Waid's Daredevil, four issues in? And what do you like about Lobdell's Superboy, two issues in? I'm not talking about the books, just the characters. I've only read the first issue of Superboy, so I'll only compare Superboy to Daredevil as depicted in their respective first issues, but Superboy is a dick. He's a cold, callous individual. He's not empathetic towards the plight of others. He's a narcissist. If we're judging books purely by their characters, I don't know how we're supposed like Superboy. The sympathetic character in the book is the lab technician from the Wildstorm line, not Superboy. I don't see what's there to like. Maybe the promise of adventures with the Teen Titans?

Meanwhile, Daredevil a fun-loving, swashbuckling superhero. He's playing around with his secret identity, flirting with mob bosses' daughters, learning how to play a violin in minutes. He's the antithesis to Superboy, and I think that makes a more inviting introduction to a character.

icon why do you blow things up like this

Blowing what up? LTM loves comics. He should like to talk about the comics he loves. I'm not antagonistic, I'm legitimately curious as to why LTM enjoys Superboy more than two other books. And unlike you, LTM is capable of coherent thoughts.
