From what I've watched of the Republican debates Ron Paul has crushed the rest of them repeatedly, and no one will take him seriously because the major news networks will paint him as a loon and the public will more or less follow what they're told.
The funny thing is, Paul absolutely destroys ALL of the "who won the debate" polls. The various websites and polling agencies have responded by removing him as an option. Pay close attention, you're seeing more and more of these "who do you support" polls that only allow you to choose between Perry, Romney, and Bachmann.
