The Mario RPG games tend to have satisfying last bosses.
At least the ones I've played all the way through ( Paper Mario, Paper Mario 2, and M&L3)

This is so true. By the time you get to him you're so overpowered that you annihilate him in seconds. Than he doesn't even drop ANYTHING worth while.
General Knoxx was a better final boss battle than him. Better reward too.
