also depending on their attention span, Baccano! works. it's more serious but really good as you go through it. especially if they dig crazy ****. just compare it to Pulp Fiction in storytelling and hopefully they'll get it.

Gankutsuou uh.. really doesn't fit a very 'anime club' environment.
Gurren Lagann is an easy one to make 'em get into because it's another shounen, with robots, manly men, and chicks with boobs.
YYH is fine, but it's long. that's the only problem with it. ideally, you'll cycle through animes every week so that each has some air time that's worth watching.
