6. I have...more respect for community colleges than universities with bad academic reputations; I know lots of people who've made the jump to a good academic school from a community colege. So...$3,000 more per year. I still value a solid academic school like Harvard over community colege, even if you will get higher quality teaching at the colege. Good academics are sexy.
