someone made this topic a few weeks ago here saying that TES was basically a more logical evolution of the original zelda than 3D zelda's have been, there's actually a lot of truth to it, OoT kind of bastardized the series and it still hasn't really recovered(did briefly with MM but then they just started pumping OoT clones)
