Windmill Shed:

Wiegraf again with the whole lawful evil thing. I remember enough now to know that Teta is not about to be let go. Golagross confirmed that with the whole "No way I'm going to die!" Wiegraf seems pretty mad though that Bartz killed his sister.

First time I tried this battle I lost pretty quickly as I forgot to stock up on consumables and had already run out of phoenix downs. Went back to the city to restock, but was attacked again on Lenalia plateau. I gained my reserves a level or two from that, then prepared to try Windmill Shed again. I took the three guys with me again this time.

This battle is just awful. The field is small, Boco keeps attacking his good friend Bartz, and Wiegraf is an all-around overpowered bastard with his sword techs that can inflict death and stop and have no MP cost. Even without all his buddies he is a force to be reckoned with, and I am supposed to defeat him with four people backing him up.

Anyway, I think it took me 7 or 8 tries to finish this one. At first I tried to charge out in front to kill Boco and prevent him from providing his Choco cure. Those attempts ended in disaster as Wiegraf stasis sword spammed the party into oblivion.

My second strategy was to hold back and have everyone accumulate until the enemy got within range. This strategy got me better results, but still Wiegraf would kill my party faster than I could revive them.

I realized that the only real way to get this done is to make the focus entirely on defeating Wiegraf. Eventually, I barely got his HP low enough so that he would flee, taking the remaining 2 soldiers with him.

Bartz still is totally naive about the corruption going on in his family, even when Wiegraf blatantly points it out. Delita seems to have a better idea of the situation. Gotta give it to Bartz for his loyalty to his family, though.

After Fovoham Plains:

Bartz Lv 7 Squire
Belmont Lv 6 Chemist
Heinlein Lv 6 Knight
Reeve Lv 7 Archer
Evelyn Lv 4 Squire
June Lv 2 Chemist
Scarlet Lv 2 Chemist
Delita Lv 4 Squire

Delita sucks and always dies. He's not going to gain another level it looks like. This wouldn't happen if he'd follow his own advice not to "rush them!"
