Basic trolling can be extremely effective, but Andel can't pull it off. It's too easy to just say "oh he's trolling" and never think about him again. He doesn't get under your skin, it's all superficial, unmemorable. That's not to say it's bad, though, a little shock trolling here and there is always fun, like a "that's what she said" joke. He's gonna have to step it up if he wants to be compared to the top tier trolls here.
I think he sort of does pull it off. Like, if Sess were running around making the topics that Andel has been making, no one would care much because we'd know Sess was just messing around. But Andel started making these topics as a largely unknown quantity. A lot of board 8 either didn't remember him or didn't know him, so it was tough at first for them to realize "lol trolling."
It obviously doesn't upset those of us "in the know" because it takes something rather special for that, but Andel has succeeded in trolling the s*** out of more than a few people since his infamous return.
