Very few of the character appearances actually defy their book descriptions in significant ways, so maybe you pictured everyone the wrong way.
This kind of post is always funny. I mean, it's a great show, but you feel the need to point out that his imagination is wrong here? =P
I think the "these characters aren't how they pictured them" complaint is silly and overused. Do you really expect them to find a full cast of actors that look just like they do in the book?
The TC may not have been complaining but I'm so used to seeing it as a complaint that I took it as one.
And like, I've seen complaints that Sansa is supposed to be blonde and that Robb's hair shouldn't be that color, both of which are completely wrong. And several similar complaints.
