You know that wasnt going to be possible considering its the kind of thing people preordered and they would suffer a larger credibility loss from failing to deliver on preorders than doing what they did.
Especially since most people wont care.
Apparently it was possible since they are no longer selling the game and sending the copies they have back.
They're still filling all remaining preorders.
